Day-by-day programme
01Marrakech → Imlil → Refuge
07:30 — Departure from Marrakech by 4x4 to Imlil, gateway to Toubkal National Park. 09:30 — Meeting with the guide and muleteers, safety and equipment briefing. 10:00 — Start of the hike through Berber villages and green valleys. Picnic lunch along the way. 16:00 — Arrival at the refuge at 3,207 m, check-in and rest. Dinner and overnight at the refuge.
02Summit ascent 4,167 m
04:30 — Wake-up and light breakfast before dawn. 05:00 — Departure for the final ascent to the summit. 09:00 — Arrival at the summit, sunrise and 360° views over North Africa. Descent to the refuge, lunch and rest. Descent to Imlil in the late afternoon. Night in a traditional guesthouse in Imlil.
03Imlil → Valleys → Marrakech
09:00 — Breakfast then free walk in the valleys and waterfalls of Imlil. 12:00 — Berber lunch with a local family. 14:00 — Return by 4x4 to Marrakech. End of services.
